How to care for your new jewelry

Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, lotions & perfume as these can tarnish the jewelry. When you are not wearing, store in a jewelry case of soft pouch to prevent damage.

Jewelry Warranty

We stand behind our products and warrant a Jewelry Guarantee to promise and stand behind the quality of our designs.

Which includes:

  • 15 day money back guarantee
  • 30 day return or exchange

1 year limited time warranty: We guarantee the material and workmanship of your purchase. We will repair or replace your mounting without charge if any defect are found during this period. If your jewelry becomes damaged as a result of manufacturer defect, RockShop Fine Gems & Jewelry will replace the item, at our option, without charge. Guarantee excluded normal wear and tear and damage caused by abuse.

Custom orders are not returnable or refundable. It’s the client’s responsibility to order their desired design and request exact dimensions, materials and requirements. The Jeweler cannot be responsible for their interpretation of the client’s request.

Complimentary Cleaning and Inspection Services

We recommend having your piece cleaned and inspected every 6 six months or it undergoes any potential trauma. Inspections may help prevent the loss of a stone and extend the life of your jewelry. This cleaning and inspection service is free of charge.

Conditions and Exclusions

The foregoing Jewelry Warranty and Complimentary Services are available only to the person who purchased the product from Rock Shop Fine Gems & Jewelry.

Maintenance, repair, sizing or other services performed by someone other than Rock Shop Fine Gems & Jewelry will void your Manufacturer Warranty.

Fine jewelry is not impervious to normal wear, activities or trauma. This is particularly true for rings since hands are regularly subjected to considerable abuse. We do not provide warranties for damage due to normal wear, product loss, loss of stones or left. Damage or loss that results from failure to obtain repairs necessary to maintain the integrity of the product are also not covered.

Some examples of common jewelry issues that would not be considered manufacturing defects include:

  1. Discoloration due to exposure of chemicals, make-up, swimming pools, hot tubs or bathing
  2. Prongs and precious metals, in general, wear over time and  may require “building up” or restoration work as normal wear.
  3. Bent, caught or worn out prong(s) allowing a stone to fall our or be lost due to normal wear or other damage.
  4. Lost stone or stone has fallen out due to chipping or breaking caused by normal wear or other damage.
